Oxford
University Press is releasing “Oxford Roald Dahl Dictionary” to celebrate writer's
100th birthday this September.
The
dictionary took Susan Rennie five years to finish and contains nearly 8,000
entries.
"[Dahl] didn't
always explain what his words meant, but children can work them out because
they often sound like a word they know, and he loved using onomatopoeia,"
said Rennie in an interview with BBC.
